In this DHT11 Sensor, a thermistor is used to determine temperature and a Humistor is used to determine humidity. The thermistor is a type of resistor, whose resistance is inversely proportional to temperature, so as the temperature decreases, the resistance increases and the resistance decreases as the temperature increases. We do not need any voltage divider circuit to use the DHT11 sensor because DHT11 is available as a complete module. By using this module with a microcontroller (e.g. Arduino, raspberry pi) we can find the humidity and temperature in the atmosphere.
