In this Colour Sensor there are four LEDs around this sensor, the white light comes from these LEDs on the object whose colour is to be detected. It consists of 64 photodiodes, which calculate the amount of these three colours from the wavelength of the reflected light and provide the signal of colour accordingly. By combining the reading of each of the three colours, you can identify any visible colour.
